Learn more about the royal history and Canada’s Commonwealth connections with an interactive map that shows you points of interest in cities with Commonwealth Walkway trails
Find your location along the Commonwealth Walkway trails
Select from one of four trails in the Banff area to explore:
Tunnel Mountain (Green Walk)
Vermilion Lakes (Blue Walk)
Sundance Canyon (Red Walk)
Spray River (Orange Walk)
Read about the history of points of interest on the trails, and get directions to the next marker.
PRIVACY POLICY
Canada’s Commonwealth Walkway application was created for the public as an interactive guide to Commonwealth Walkway trails. The application asks for location permissions to display the following:
where users are on the trails,
which direction they are facing, and
how far they are from points of interest on the trails.
The app uses temporary location data but does not retain the data or otherwise collect any personal information.
No data or personal information is shared with third parties.
Location permissions can be disabled by users at any time, which will deactivate the features listed above. This can be done through Settings > Commonwealth Walkway > Location.
